U-GO Far: Cambodia – Vietnam Cycle is a cross-country challenge that will take you from Can Tho, Vietnam through Ha Tien border to Kep and Kampot, Cambodia. This event will showcase breathtaking landscapes of Cambodia and Vietnam while pedaling for the cause of girls’ education. The raised funds will directly provide young girls with support to pursue higher education and achieve their dreams.
We have experienced guides and mechanics accompanying the cyclists to facilitate a smooth and safe adventure with snacks/drinks approx. every 20km along the way to keep you hydrated and energised. The route has been purposely designed to avoid busy roads and maximize breathtaking scenery.
Organisation Partners
Saigonchildren and ISF are dedicated UK-registered NGOs that enable disadvantaged children in Vietnam and Cambodia to access quality education, from primary school through higher education and vocational training. U-GO, as a matching sponsor, offers scholarships and financial support to young women in low-income countries, working with saigonchildren and ISF to empower these women to pursue university education and drive positive change in their communities.
About the Cause
This event aims to raise US$100,000 to support the education of young girls in Vietnam and Cambodia. The funds will provide vital scholarships and educational resources to ensure that girls have the opportunity to reach their full potential. By helping them gain access to quality education, we can break the cycle of poverty enabling them to secure better jobs and contribute to the development of their communities. Equal access to education also promotes gender equality, empowering women to advocate for their rights and foster more inclusive and equitable societies.
By investing in the education of girls today, we are laying the groundwork for future generations of leaders and change makers. Educating young girls creates role models, inspiring future generations to pursue education. Join us for creating a brighter and more equitable future for all!
Double the impact
Each $1 fundraised by participants becomes $2 for a good cause with a matching donation from U-GO.
